Dan Conti started vaulting at Quabbin Regional in 1997 under the coaching of the great Ken Petersen.  While at Quabbin, Dan competed in several events besides the vault, such as the hurdles, making it to the State Championships. After high school, Dan went on to compete in the decathlon, pole vault, and the 110m high hurdles at Holy Cross, achieving PRs of 6652, 14’8″, and 14.6 respectively. Like so many of us, he was not ready to give up on track after college and  joined up with the Greater Boston Track Club, continuing to train and compete in track and field events. When not at the track, Dan is a master of the computer keyboard working as a video game programmer for Rockstar Games. Dan and his wife live near Boston, MA.
