Announcing New Practice Packages

In 2011, we started a new opportunity for pole vaulters in New England by joining forces with 360 Gymnastics in Shirley, MA. This has allowed us to have regular weekly (sometimes more!) practices in a gymnastics facility with a ready-to-vault full pit and runway. The addition of this facility demonstrated a need for us at PPVC to change our membership structure and create packages based on vaulting “seasons” to better accommodate vaulters (and their parents!).
Please note that it is the policy of the Patriot Pole Vault Club to allow ANYONE and EVERYONE to vault with us regardless of their ability to afford it. If you are experiencing financial difficulties and cannot afford the membership dues or practice session fees, please talk to us – we will work out a satisfactory solution to everyone’s benefit.
New Annual Membership Cost: $30
- Old Annual Membership Cost – $300
- Good from January 1, 2012 – December 31, 2012
- Gets you a PPVC t-shirt, preferred practice times, discounts on club gear and meet entry fees for PPVC hosted meets and clinics.
New Packages in Addition to Pay-As-You-Go
Our packages are structured around seasons, following very similar timelines to high school athletics. For more details, please visit our Membership & Pricing Page.
Rather than paying for each indoor session as you go, which you can still do for $25 per practice, you now have the option to save some money and pre-pay with a package for one of our indoor seasons.
If you are someone who has only vaulted with us outdoors, you will not notice any change in our package: outdoor practices are still $300 for the entire year, vaulting as many times as your schedules and feet allow.
Please remember that a valid USATF Membership ($20 if under 18, $30 adult) is also required to practice with PPVC, regardless of package selections or PPVC membership status. 2011 USATF Memberships have expired, so renew today online if you haven’t already.
