Coach IngridCoach Ingrid has been involved with the pole vault since she first started in 8th grade. At Shrewsbury High School, she competed for the Colonials at the state and New England meets, winning New Englands her freshman year. After graduating she attended the University of Pennsylvania where she competed on the Women’s Track & Field team while majoring in Elementary Education. Coach Ingrid continued with her education at Teachers College, Columbia University specializing in Instructional Media & Technology. Upon graduation, she worked as a Physical Education teacher for a year before settling as a Technology Integration Specialist for first the Westborough Public Schools and now Cambridge Public Schools.

Coaching with Patriot Pole Vault Club since 2006, Coach Ingrid has helped maintain the club website, as well as photograph and record video for many competitions and meets. She was also the pole vault coach for Shrewsbury High School for two seasons before joining the Regis College track team as their first pole vault coach. This year she has joined the Tufts Jumbos coaching staff as their pole vault coach. When not coaching, she can be found officiating as both a Regional and National-Level pole vault official. In 2009, Coach Ingrid became a USA Track and Field Level 1 Certified Coach and looks to continue her coaching education.
