Indoor Practices at Brandeis University

Mondays 7:00-8:30
Tuesdays 7:00-8:30 & 8:30-10:00
Thursdays 7:00-8:30 & 8:30-10:00
Sundays times will vary
for Sunday 11/27 6:00-7:30 & 7:30-9:00
for Sunday 12/04 7:00-8:30 & 8:30-10:00
Sundays after 12/04 will be announced at a later date
- Practice registration links can be found on our competition calendar
- There will be a cap of 10 athletes at each session and athletes WILL be required to register for practice sessions on Constant Contact in advance – drop ins WILL NOT be allowed
- If a session is full you can contact Coach Doug to be put on a waiting list and if we get any cancellations we will let you know
- Weekday practices (M, Tu, Th) are geared towards College and open athletes as well as more experienced scholastic athletes
- Sunday practices are for scholastic athletes of all abilities and open athletes. NO COLLEGIANS!
- For brand new vaulters we will be scheduling several introduction to pole vault sessions throughout the indoor season. Brand new vaulters MUST attend one of these sessions before you can register for one of our regularly scheduled practices
- Athletes may only sign up for one session per day
- For the time being scholastic athletes may only sign up for one weekday practice session per week plus a Sunday practice session
- If you have signed up for a session and are unable to make it you must contact Coach Doug at least 24 hours in advance so we can make that slot open to another athlete. If we are not informed within 24 hours of the session you will be charged for that session. If you regularly are a cancellation or a no-show you will be restricted from signing up for further sessions
- We will have some dates where we will not be able to practice and others that we’ll have to change the timing. We will post all updates to our calendar, Facebook page and Twitter feed.
FACILITY NOTES
- Enter the building at the front entrance and then let the front desk know that you are there for Patriot Pole Vault Club practices.
- On weekday nights we will have to end practices AT 10:00 and no later unless otherwise noted.
- We will have a complete set of ESSX poles available for your use from 9’0 to 15’1. If you plan on bringing your own poles you will want to first enter the building through the front entrance and then we can open a side door to let you bring in your poles .
- Spikes ARE allowed at this facility.
- Obviously we need to keep the facility CLEAN! Please clean up after yourselves.
PRACTICE COSTS AND PACKAGE DEALS
2022-23 USATF MEMBERSHIP – NEW MEMBERSHIP & RENEWALS
For insurance and liability purposes all athletes including collegians are required to have a USATF (USA Track and Field) membership prior to working out with the club. There are NO exceptions to this rule! We will need proof of your USATF membership before we can allow any athlete to participate so please bring it to practice with you.
If you have signed up for USATF membership online but have not received your membership card yet just print out the receipt with your USATF number.
A year’s membership in the USATF costs $30 for those 18 and under and $55 for those 19 and up. It covers you until December 31st, 2022.
The easiest way to sign up for USATF membership is online at the USATF website.
As you register we ask that you list us as your “USATF-Registered Club”.
- For athletes from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont our club number is 02-0232.
- For athletes from Maine our club number is 01-0393
- For athletes from Connecticut our club number is 05-0392
